Botanical Art Worldwide
This international exhibition project has already taken place twice: in 2018 and 2025. The idea for it was born at one of the conferences of the American Society of Botanical Art. From the very beginning, German artists Sylvia Peter and Verena Redmann were involved and became members of the international committee organizing the project. Here you can see a review of the German-Austrian contribution, which was shown at the Botanical Art Forum.

Botanical Art Worldwide II
The Diversity of Crops
2025
The diversity of crops was the connecting theme this time: time-honored fruit and vegetable varieties or their wild counterparts, medicinal plants, wood and fiber plants. Forty watercolors, drawings, acrylic and oil paintings by artists from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, and Slovenia were shown in the Forum Botanische Kunst. A two-hour slideshow on a screen allowed visitors to view the works from all participating countries.
You can see a tour of the exhibition in this video by Ricarda Blank:

Botanical Art Worldwide I Flora's New Masters 2018
In May 2018, botanical artists celebrated the plant world for the first time in a joint exhibition project: “Botanical Art Worldwide.” The exhibitions took place simultaneously in 25 countries on six continents. Visitors at each exhibition venue were able to view the works from other countries on screens. All artists portrayed the native plants of their respective countries.
Forty works from Germany and Austria were on display at the Botanical Art Forum. At the same time, the WeinKulturGaden, within walking distance, hosted the exhibition “Floras Alte Meister” (Flora's Old Masters), which featured original copperplate engravings by Maria Sybilla Merian, Basilius Besler, Crispijn van de Passe, and Georg Hoefnagel.
Here you can see a video of the joint opening of the two exhibitions.
